Functional medicine is a patient-centered model that determines how and why illness occurs, with the goal of restoring health by addressing the root causes of disease. Dr. Singleton sees patients who have chronic conditions and works with them to discover the underlying causes of their sickness. In addition to hormone balancing and nutritional supplements, he considers factors such as genetic disposition, environmental issues or exposure, medication interactions and vitamin deficiencies that contribute to overall health. Once identified, these imbalances can be corrected so that the body can heal. Dr. Singleton is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.

To do that, we look at the interaction between the adrenal gland, the thyroid and the ovaries. We look at the impact that stress has on organ systems. We look at gut health and the impact that it has on the immune system, metabolism and inflammation. We try to help patients answer these questions:
Why am I tired?
Why do I have pre-diabetes?
Why can’t I lose weight?
Why am I so emotional?
Why do I have brain fog?
