Alex Shaffer, FNP, has a passion for caring for women in every stage of life. She began her career at Cornerstone Clinic in 2018 as a registered nurse before returning to school at UAMS and coming back as a nurse practitioner. 

Alex’s background gives her a unique perspective and deep understanding of patient care. She strives to create an environment where women feel truly seen, heard and supported, and is known for her compassionate approach, strong listening skills and desire to help patients live healthy, confident lives. Alex specializes in women's health, including obstetrics, general gynecology, PCOS management and weight loss. 

Outside of the clinic, Alex enjoys spending time with her husband, Will, their son, Teddy, and their dog, Boomer. As a family, they love traveling, staying active and spending time outdoors. Alex is also an active member of Fellowship Midtown Church in Little Rock.
