KNOW WHEN TO CALL ABOUT INCIDENTS
Contact your provider at Cornerstone if you or your newborn are experiencing any of these symptoms:
INJURY OR ACCIDENTS
Contact with chemicals, toxins, fumes or smoke
Any domestic violence
Human or animal bites
Motor vehicle accident
Falls, especially if you hit your abdomen
ILLNESS
Fever of more than 100.6°F that does not go away a few hours after taking acetaminophen
Vomiting and/or diarrhea for more than 24 hours
Painful urination
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or seek immediate care from the nearest hospital emergency room – including these conditions:
Shortness of breath and chest pain
Heavy vaginal bleeding that soaks through a large pad in 10 minutes
Fainting or extreme dizziness
Sexual assault
Severe motor vehicle accident
Breathing problems if you have asthma
