KNOW WHEN TO CALL DURING

Contact your provider at Cornerstone if you or your newborn are experiencing any of these symptoms:

  • Bleeding

  • Dizziness

  • Decreased baby movement

  • Severe or frequent headaches or vision problems

  • Severe or sudden swelling in your face, eyes, hands or feet

  • Think your water may have broken

  • A change in the baby’s movements, especially if the baby is not moving much or at all

  • Fluid from your vagina that you think is not urine or discharge

  • Severe cramps or pelvic pressure before your due date

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or seek immediate care from the nearest hospital emergency room – including these conditions:

  • Shortness of breath and chest pain

  • Heavy vaginal bleeding that soaks through a large pad in 10 minutes

  • Fainting or extreme dizziness

  • Sexual assault

  • Severe motor vehicle accident

  • Breathing problems if you have asthma
